Michael Rinker is a skilled teacher,             performer, and arranger. He studied         music education and received his             Bachelor’s of Music from the Berklee College of Music in Boston in 2005. He then went on to earn his Master’s Degree in Music and Human Learning from the     University of Texas at Austin in 2012.

Traditional West African drumming has been a passion of Michael’s since 2004. Having studied with master drummers across the U.S. and in both Guinea and Ghana, Mike continues teaching all levels in the traditional oral learning style.
